June 4th 13.00-15.00
An increased implementation of micro-grids can accelerate the European adoption of smart energy systems, but is hindered by current structures. One of the main barriers to be overcome is that the bottom-up technologies in micro-grids need to coexist with top-down grid control systems and market models.
This webinar will present key results and findings from the ERA-Net Smart Grid Plus m2M-GRID project related to the following topics:
Enhancement of the distribution grid planning process.
Development of control functions for effective coordination with distribution grids.
Analyses of market designs for local markets and micro-grids.
